I see your point and appreciate the comment, but the structure/protocol of internet traffic doesn't limit it to One country - if the US passes internet "law", are you saying that no traffic could pass through without following the law? No severs could be housed in the US without following the law? pardon my ignorance but I can't envision how this could possibly be enforced.
What makes more sense is to regulate any US companies offering internet services/products - but what would prevent them from moving hdqtrs to another country that didn't enforce the same laws?
