Books package things in one place. Handy for people. I have written many things including books. Once a field gets to a certain point, people will write about it. All kinds of people, different positions, different skill levels, levels of understanding, etc. The best books will rise like cream to the top.

Who's lying? The authors?

If they are quoting POTUS, they would use "I." That's appropriate.

I don't think books like this are going to go away, anon. They will be marketed the way books usually areโ€“using somewhat inflated language. Not all of them but most.

People are liking this book, it will open newbies to Q. "The perfect is the enemy of the good."

Authors will write, and this was inevitable. So why fret? Just keep on, anon, as you have done previously. The truth will out in the end.

P.S. I'm a fan of Praying Medic. He is a higher soul IMO, and also the reason I'm here. We all have somewhat different opinions but what matters is that we can work together even so. WWG1WGA.

Depends. You can go for as little as 20%; Amazon likes 55% last I checked, but only people who don't do their research wind up with that bad deal! Printing is about another 25%. I wouldn't go as low as 20% to Amazon, because they treat you badly enough already (if you don't use Createspace, their publisher, or the Kindle subsidiary that is its replacement).

You are so right. I get so much from other people, and then I try to give, too. I have written many, many articles for free but have also published books. Writers don't make much money unless they publish bestsellers (and don't have half a dozen co-authors).

I like open source, not Socialist, just like sharing. Used to put on grassroots conferences for creative types that cost very little money because we set up a volunteering system. It's great when it works. So grateful to have to chance to participate here. Not everyone has the time or energy to do anon work. What a blessing.
