Not a bad theory anon. I can't imagine NSA knowing everything, but having everything could be done by continuous capture of everything. Then it would just be a matter of looking up a known device in a certain time period and seeing what it picked up.

Of course this could just be stored as audio, but it would make sense to run recognition software over it to create a text attachment which could then be used in keyword searches.

Similar to what Facebook does to show you targeted ads, sort of thing (but Facebook wouldn't keep or transfer capturesโ€“too easily detectable).

IANALfag, but I would say no. He's not writing the book under oath or anything. It could just be used to show he's comped though. Drop (or leak) the right info that contradicts anything he says in the book and he'll look like a bit of a dick.

Probably why it's taken so long to write. Gotta be as vanilla as possible and still sell.

Ashamed to say it took me years to work out what IANAL meant. I thought I was getting in to some dodgy newsgroups or something.. But yeah, adding 'fag' to everything has its keks sometimes.

Only one who can delete posts is the BO or BVs anon, usually for illegal stuff, obvious shenanigans, or for cases such as yours.

Wasn't getting at you anon, just honestly had a physical reaction to the word and wanted to verbalize it.

Call out the BO/BV (if any around) with red text caps. Baker is just an anon, like us, but slightly better for their service.

No, it is used on "application programs" like Word, or internet explorer, etc (.EXE files, but probably for Linux and Mac as well) . Things like Twitter or Facebook algorithms all happen on their servers, you won't have access to them.

I obviously haven't looked at GHIDRA, but I'm guessing it can do a combination of things like run the program and monitor any system calls it makes, log network traffic, show how the application is structured, decompile application code in a semi-intelligent way, check what embedded resources is has etc. Very much a 'local' thing to your computer. Very very dry stuff unless you're a complete propeller head.

Good luck anon. The sick are bastards everywhere. I was a bit worried you were thinking of taking the law in to your own hands. As satisfying as I'm sure that would be, in the long run you might help them escape justice though some technicality. So, go by the book, but by all means show up with a bunch of evidence.

Tread carefully fren. The pain caused by this abuse runs deep, that's why the police have special investigators for this sort of thing. Get the bare minimum to confirm the abuse then turn it over to them.

Post the headline when it's done.
