America Kratom Society is run by Nancy Pelosi's son, Anon. Their long game is probably to push for more FDA legislation and run all of the mom-and-pop vendors out of business.
Also, kratom is indeed an opiod (it acts on the opiod receptors). That doesn't mean it's on the same level as heroin, but claiming it isn't an opiod is literal fake news.

That's exactly what kratom does. That doesn't mean we should ban it or treat it like heroin, but claiming that that it's an "herbal supplement" and and that it doesn't have addictive properties doesn't help.
