I believe I know who killed someone in an old case in my town, and there is a very large reward for solving it. My concern is that this reward is simply to find out who knows what. I came across the information simply by doing research, but I'm still concerned.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I handle this? I would post the information here but its a very long dig, and even then I would still either need to forward the information to an agency, or just trust that someone else would do it.

Please advise.

I trust the Secret Service… I would trust them not to pass along my name, but to follow up on the information.

Do you think that would be a good way to follow up?
