As so many of us know, Israel has had such an immense stranglehold on American foreign policy over the last 30+ years that any resistance not only means charges of anti-semitism, but the complete destruction of one's political career (see: James Traficant). As FBIanon stated so succinctly, there is NO going against Israel, period. Anybody who flirted with the idea, such as a Ron Paul, will be destroyed by the media. And because the conservative movement has been so infected with Christian Zionism, it also means the Republican party will chew you up and spit you out as well. Whoever tackles this problem must navigate this minefield. Simply coming out in opposition to Israel might make anons applaud, but it would be political suicide.

Like everything else, this has to be slow walked. People must not get the impression that POTUS is in conflict with Israel, AIPAC, or those neocons who are supporting him. The single biggest excuse for our continued support for Israel is the danger posed by Israel's enemies…so the solution is simple: you slowly eliminate every excuse they have for having us over there…we all know it was never intended for ISIS to be defeated…because it served as the magnet for American intervention. Now there all but gone. Saudi Arabia is taken care of. Soon, the mullahs (another great bogeyman of Israel) will be out of power. Slowly but surely you can thwart Israel's plans for hegemony in the fertile crescent without opposing them. Then would be the time for real exposure…911 involvement, espionage against U.S. interests, etc…then you break clean.

Until then, it MUST be business as usual.
