>>The victims told police a white man driving a silver Ford Explorer pulled them over and showed a handgun, according to a news release. The victims were able to get the vehicle's license plate number and told officers the man used red and blue strobe lights during the traffic stop.
A short time later, an officer spotted the SUV and stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Loop 323 and South Broadway Avenue. Khristian Welch admitted to pulling over a vehicle after watching the victims run a red light, a news release stated.
