Coming from the Counterintelligence field, the article you referenced, reading between the lines, showed that GWB basically went on a 1 man campaign to recruit political assets in the House and Senate to ensure the Clowns did not lose control. If I was performing the op he did, I would use the C_A to gather dirt on political adversaries while gathering dirt on the ones I could control. A year is enough time, but longer would have been optimal. Then as Vice President I could use my undying loyalty I had created while at the C_A to increase my power base. Use the info I gained while director and then as Vice to further my agenda. I could literally choose the next presidents and political leaders of not only this country, but others all over the world for a generation. Like chess pieces on the board.

Huawei was started by the Chinese version of the NSA director. He "retired" from the Chinese Army. His daughter is Chinese Intel. We were told not to use any Huawei products back in 2013 due to the intel we had that they stole everything from code to products. They were not even hiding it, leaving the coders autograph in programs, leaving names of American companies on products. The Chinese government is like Borg. They gather everything they can, even if it is nothing at all of intelligence value. They do the same with countries when taking their resources. All Chinese companies are run by Chinese Army Officers. All gather intel, money, and assets for the government. Every Chinese student gets their college paid for by the government and are mandated to report everything to their handlers. They bring pregnant women to other countries to get citizenship to make it easier to plant them in our society later.
