Children are very easily led by adults to say whatever, because the adult makes the child feel like it is supposed to give the more pleasing answer or agree to the thing the adult is saying because children seek to please an authority figure.
If you say the right things the right way and nod your head up and down as you ask and use your voice it gives them the message that they are supposed to answer yes or no or whatever.
You can get a kid to agree to anything. I took some college classes on child development and learned it. I also have witnesses it firsthand.

Have you allowed yourself to even consider that maybe the problem with so called crying wolf and nothing happening is not that it pushes people away from waking up but that it means you might be clinging to something that isn't real? That maybe you should shake this off and get out of the self reinforceing echo chamber for a while and listen to other opinions and look around at the world and see what is real?
