Phone co's involved?

You know Q, that is an interesting question. I have often wondered why you can't get a land line phone anymore these days. At least as far as I could tell. It always made me wonder if they have been forcing the wireless/cell phone thing on us so that they could circumvent all the laws regarding phone tapping that were written years ago before cell phone tech.
