Anon.
Anon, Anon, Anon.
sigh
Nice! :)
Can only speak for myself:
I'm not worried about educating the masses and am usually like "huh" when Anons get wound around the axle about their perceived role being that of providing the "red pill" to Granny, Mom, Wife, random person at the grocery store, etc.
This Anon approaches the research-y Q thing as a hobby. If you're interested in it, cool, I can help you get started!
If you're not so much interested in learning as you are hoping I'll knit that sweater FOR you, well. Hm. Depends on my mood.
Meh.
My own life so very vanilla 90% of that time that I actually feel bad for anyone who has to look at whatever has been collected.
FB is herpes.
Maybe if you tell your MIL she has digital herpes she'll reevaluate her thoughts on FB?
Ha! Yeah, old ladies do enjoy the pictures. :) And bored moms (who are not necessarily old ladies).
You weren't weird for not opening that Pandora's Box - I felt the same way and then gave in to peer pressure! I have literally jumped off of brides because my friends were doing it and have no regrets. Joining FB because my friends were like "Do it" is one of my biggest regrets.
