Continuing the dig. Yep he's a Communist

In 1972 in Mexico City, Leo Tanguma met David Alfaro Siqueiros who significantly influenced his work. Siqueriros advised Tanguma to take his themes from American life and to avoid strictly folkloric material.

Who is David Alfaro Siqueiros ?

He was a Stalinist in support of the Soviet Union and a member of the Mexican Communist Party who led an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Leon Trotsky in May 1940.
