The key to understanding how this war could develop is understanding shadow funding. The CIA is able to establish front operations and slush funds. Property purchases are sometimes common fronts for this.

Anyone know why I chose this theater to pay attention to? It's related to a Q drop. Why did a cancer research foundation own property? If a charity logs a donation of $1,000 and then makes a sale for $1,500 … ? Are the sales fair market value, or a negotiated exchange?
Loop Capital is important for this reason. You think your pension funds are all going into the pockets of crooked politicians - and that is partially true, but imagine what this can fund at the strategic level if the managers of pension funds were CIA plants tasked with shuffling the reliable deposits of union and public workers into stocks of front operations and shell businesses.
The CIA which wears a badge and seal of officialdom is just the tip of the iceberg. In the military, we refer to this as being "a force multiplier." Special forces train to go into foreign territory and train local rebels in overthrowing their government. Likewise, by strategically placing people within public and private companies, the CIA can manipulate capital exchanges to their favor to create a budget that exists apart from government funds.
The reason I left the military is because I was being sent to fuck around in the sand with the symptom, rather than being sent to MDK the people in our own nation who need it, first. Since some of those people were being made officers and appointed into high ranking positions of strategic importance, it was an exceptionally poor career choice for me to remain. I wear my emotions on my sleeve a bit too much, and would have done something stupid, if not been sent along with some ill-fated group to have an accident or get blown up by CIA funded organizations.
How could there not be a shadow war? The military sees the most recruits out of "fly-over territory." We are the culture continually assaulted and slandered by media and DC politicians. Even the 'sleeping' people in the military are tossing and turning in a restless nightmare.
Perhaps you are asleep. Perhaps you are an agent of that war - wittingly or not. In the end, it makes little difference. I have lived a bit of that shadow war, however. I have also lived a bit of the blood feud - perhaps am even a lost branch of it; clashes of family clans like ninjas in the dead of night.
It's all rather surreal to those who haven't experienced it. Like describing the flavor of an apple to people who've only eaten gruel. Sometimes, the more you learn about the world, the less fantastic the genres of stories become, and you realize "we" talk on the wind at this level.

I always like to point to things that carry a bit more meaning than people realize. It's amazing how much many anons miss. Of course, there is a reason I suspect I am part of the blood line wars. Q is like talking with my father when he got existential on me. I was born with a hunger for deeper questions and conversations and a family line that embraced such deeper thought.
