Why do most Boomers get offended by these meme's

Venezuela just hit with a nationwide blackout(70%)…..Nicolas Maduro claims the major outage has been caused by "sabotage" at hydroelectric dam.

This is going to affect the recent adoption of LTC / BTC. I wonder if the that btc / ltc thing yesterday was the cause of the power outage today.
