God of Death, Anubis to Denver Airport!
I was living in Laramie, WY from 1990-94 and I remember hearing about when they first proposed the new airport and most in Denver were scratching their head about why a new airport was even needed, but also way out in the middle of nowhere. The citizens were assured that the cost would not come from their taxes and how it was gonna be so great because of the high tek under ground system to transport everyone’s luggage directly to the planes. No long lines and less waiting, yada, yada.
Well, of course, it went way over budget and Coloradans did end up footing much of the bill.
