TLDR: One possibility is that web-connected devices are not only monitoring and tracking but mentally controlling, or at least affecting the mind/body so that it is extremely difficult to think for yourself.

Why does Q use the term "asleep" and why is this project called the great "awakening"? Is being asleep just about not being aware of corruption, or is it more like having your mind connected to The Matrix instead of reality? When Q talks about the "war for your mind" does he only mean fake news telling lies?

Think about how "the web" of connected technology has become completely woven into every single aspect of life over the last 20 years, and everyone has at least one connected device made by (((them))) nearby at all times. Was that all done for our convenience and to help us communicate with friends/family? A spider builds a web for what reason? Who are the flies?

Q posted about pyramids of control - a few powerful at the top, their rewarded/controlled puppets in tiers under them, regular people at the very bottom. Think about the top levels and what they believe, what they are willing to do, and their longterm plans.

Could it also tie into Bible prophecies about people being forced into a system of absolute control, and not being able to function in society unless connected to the system, and those who refuse are eventually hunted down?

Hopefully I'm wrong and (((they))) haven't been able to accomplish "brainwashing" beyond getting people addicted to fake news shows, articles, and twitter feeds. But Q has said that things are at the level of what we would consider sci-fi fiction, and that things are beyond what autists can imagine.
