While we are slow on night shift, I wanted to share something I haven't seen discussed much about DIA. I've done the drive to/from DIA a handful of times in the past and had already read the conspiracy theories beforehand.

Perhaps the best evidence that really doesn't appear anywhere is the Republic Services Tower Landfill. This landfill is located directly beside the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge and is right off of the two main roads that lead to DIA.

It is EXCEEDINGLY COMMON KNOWLEDGE among state locals that this landfill did not exist before construction of DIA, and this landfill grew from nothing to a HUGE pile of DIRT in very little time, very much during the construction of DIA.

The blue horse is really fucking creepy every time you drive in.

Colorado is lousy with underground secrets. On the way up the abandoned Rollins Pass route coming from the Winter Park entrance, I once explored some roads off the path up and came across two instances of green-camouflaged air exchanges in the woods just a bit away from the road. They were running. On another visit I was coming down just after the sunset and my lights caught two workers in black clothing caught like deer in my headlights who were tying off blank crime-scene-type tape in three different colors. I would see these little color tape markers seeming to demarcate nothing in particular throughout that season.

This is harder stuff to build a parallel construction on because they really do control everything coming in or out, not much for us.
