Full Measure with Cheryl Attkisson will be discussing fighting fake news by promoting media literacy but there may be a darker side. Who is curating our news? They’re going to talk about who is curating our news and if there are people and organizations that want to push and control the information and the people. The darker side wants to control, organize massive fake news efforts to curate our information on our behalf by third parties, colleges, universities, elementary schools, politicians trying to pass laws requiring it, and then the big question: but what if those interests are pushed and funded by interests that really want to control and sensor information to control the people and how dangerous a trend this is.

This is the first time I’ve seen a local news program pushing back against the dark side.

I think it will be interesting to see how far they go but the convo has a bunch of buzz words in it.
