The circle is the northern terminus of the underground passenger tram. The trains turn around there and return to the main terminal, stopping at each Concourse.

There are 2 tunnel levels under the concourses, one for the passenger train, and one that houses the failed baggage conveyors. It is now used to manually (tugs pulling luggage carts) move baggage between terminal and concourses.
