I'm derping around V7, here's where I'm at so far.

Looking at Vault7 again through the lens of Q tells a very interesting story.

The CIA has many compartmentalized departments that deal with the different aspects of hacking. Exploits, Malware, Analysis, Data Collection/Management. All of this requires a lot of people. At the scale they're working it becomes tough to manage all your assets since you've basically been piecemealing your digital surveillance apparatus one piece at a time since the end of WW2, their infrastructure is a sprawling mess and my guess is the CIA is well aware of that. Wikileaks is.

>Such is the scale of the CIA's undertaking that by 2016, its hackers had utilized more code than that used to run Facebook.

CIA takes two shots at the NSA

>Development of digital prison cells. (replacement)

But the CIA's infrastructure is still a mess, enter DARPA and 'LifeLog'. A project fundamentally designed to homogenize all the tools the CIA has to use to exploit and exfiltrate data and get the target (everybody) to install it themselves through propaganda and their media assets. Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, all the major social media platforms are fronts with different interfaces that all feed the same backend. Q has shown us that the CIA and these companies are one in the same from Amazon to Google they all just feed the CIA raw data so it can be analyzed and profiled.

>Snowden (catalyst)

Snowden is either born in or groomed into CIA through his girlfriend or his employers or both. The CIA is jelly the NSA has superior data collection abilities, superior surveillance abililities, and most importantly their infrastructure is way more homogenized allowing greater Analysis and compartmentalization. The CIA (being a global intelligence agency) can't stand having a competing organization so they get Snowden in there to leak NSA programs deliberately weakening the NSA.

Other interesting notes:

Snowden worked for Booz Allen before the NSA, Raytheon also worked with the CIA on the 'UMBRAGE' project (framing other countries for CIA hacks e.x. Russia). The scope of the V7 release in terms of targets is extraordinary and the partnerships that were exposed. For example the MI5 connection with Weeping Angel, the Raytheon connection with UMBRAGE and I'm sure there's more to it than that I've only just started really looking again.
