King David is NOT in heaven. Acts 2:34.
Jesus is coming to earth to setup his kingdom HERE ON EARTH. Rev 21:3. The meek shall inherit this earth. Psalm 37:11.
The bible teaches RESURRECTION - not heaven or hell. See Rev 20:4-5 and 12-13. Jesus talked about the resurrection not going to heaven.
