In my experiences throughout meditation I've gotten different answers some are straight out no, some go maybe, some go yes, I test, the contact. You Do Not Trust. You test. After if the contact satisfies all conditions, in alignment to the principles of Jesus, and the Christ consciousness, then you know, you are calling on the Holy Spirit.
Then you will know the next part of The Plan. Only those who have done the practice, will understand what I am saying.
Even at that level, it is up to free will, to decide, is this for the benefit or for the detriment of existence to pray to God?
You look at this situation, and the only way to escape duality then is to look at the trinity. The only way to reconcile, Good vs Evil itself, is transmutation. It is taking two sides, instead of them two at odds fighting, you learn how to make these two sides work together. This is not possible without God.
Therein again Holy Trinity.
So how do you get there? I'll just quote Jesus again.

This war is between those who accept and love God, and those who would Reject God. Their only way to reject God then is to take on the likeness of Gods enemy. They only reject Love itself.
