I just finished reading it, and it gives an interesting take on Genesis. Basically, the original story was written using Naga glyphs.

The original story is about cataclysms that occur naturally and reset civilization.

It is a quick read, but it would be nice to have the CIA’s analysis of it.

Genesis

Chapter 1:

The Gods (Elohim) created male and female humans and gave them dominion over the Earth. These male and female humans are vegetarians. The creatures are also vegetarian.

1.26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

1.27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

1.29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

1.30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Chapter 2:

The Lord God (YHWH Elohim) took a male from Genesis 1.26-1.27 and turned him into a worker who is confined to the Garden (enclosure) and is to work there. He is not to eat of certain fruit, which contradicts Genesis 1.29. Man no longer has dominion over the Earth.

2.5 …and there was not a man to till the ground.

2.7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

2.8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

2.9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

2.15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

2.16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

2.17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

2.25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Chapter 3:

The Serpent tells the man and woman they are slaves in the Garden, and they can create life through sex. The man and woman are clothed in animal skins so they learn about killing.

3.2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3.3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

3.4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

3.5 for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

3.21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

Chapter 4:

Cain’s offering is consistent with Genesis 1.29. Abel’s is not. The Lord God praised Abel for his tax payment, and rejected Cain’s payment. YHWH Elohim created slaves and taught them to offer blood sacrifices.

4.2 And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

4.3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.

4.4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

4.5 but unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
