Ed Genson, the defense lawyer who represented R.Kelly at his 2008 child pornography trial, has come under fire for saying the singer was “guilty as hell” of the charges in the wake of his latest indictment.
Genson also claimed Kelly used to gets shots from a doctor to reduce his libido in order to control his urges.
The singer, real name Robert Sylvester Kelly, was acquitted of the child pornography charges in 2008, in a case centered around an alleged video of Kelly having sex with a 13-year-old girl. He now faces 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against four women, three whom were minors at the time.
“He was guilty as hell," Genson told the Chicago Sun-Times. “I don’t think he’s done anything inappropriate for years. I’ll tell you a secret: I had him go to a doctor to get shots, libido-killing shots. That’s why he didn’t get arrested for anything else.”

Six men arrested on suspicion of child sexual exploitation offences after a series of raids have been bailed.
The men, aged between 20 and 28, were held after police raided five properties in the Forest Fields area of Nottingham on Thursday.
They were accused of causing or inciting the sexual exploitation of one or two 14-year-old girls.
Nottinghamshire Police said the men had been bailed while investigations continue.
The force added that it takes the exploitation of young people "extremely seriously" and it "remains a priority" for officers.
