It's called rubbernecking…seen way too many accidents that way…mostly rear end accidents…the person in front slows down and turns their head…the persons behind them do the same and are not watching the car in front of them end up rear ending them…
In this case since the persons view was to the right…some people turn the wheel when they turn they heads quickly…
My daughter dropped a slurpee one day in a brand new car…it dropped off to the left…she bent over to try to stop it or to upright it and since it fell to the left she ran into a pole on the left…

if you look at the video..once the car went off the road a little bit..the downward slope cause it to make the left downward motion worse..from there they caught it…it happens in a split second.
