>We are becoming a nation that not only is rejecting its traditions and institutions but is credulous about things that make no sense. Shame on those who tout fake news and push ridiculous conspiracy theories to make money and scare people.

This quote from the article could easily be turned around to how the MSM is credulous about — and reporting as true — things that make no sense.

I don't know why it is unusual that the QAnon book is outselling old books. Sure they are classics. A classic book will have a certain baseline level of sales, but it'll also be limited by the fact that so many people already own it.

The QAnon book is a new release with intense interest, it's not surprising that it would outsell older books in its first week.

Would be the same for sales of classic albums… Sgt Pepper probably sold a baseline level through the 70s (even up to now) that was way above other albums from the 60s, but you didn't see claims of "conspiracy theories" when it dropped off the charts. Continued to remain in print and selling lots of copies, even if surpassed by new releases.
