Video games amd money

Has anyone played red dead redemption, GTA or any other open world games?

Notice the money used is gold (most games)?

Notice how there is no inflation and the price of goods you buy remain the same.

Now granted, in the real world there will be price fluctuations based on demand and supply but the point is the money never loses its value. Never.

Then explain why the price of goods and services tend to steadily deflate over time under a gold standard?

Not a video game because this is what it would look like (again!) in real life.
