Those jobs are done, no matter if the minimum wage is $5 or $15. No use bickering about it at this point. The discussion should be shifting to how the economy and work force are going to be sustainable once millions of people have lost their jobs to technology. What’s going to fill that void? We need to start looking toward the future and understand this bigger picture if we want to create real solutions. Otherwise we’re just running around trying to treat the symptoms

Not sure how you’re coming to that conclusion. Look around at the dwindling middle class. Compound those problems with a lack of even low paying jobs. It’s not the mimnum wage that’s behind all of this, it’s other macroeconomic forces. Our current debt-based economic system is unsustainable, and this is only becoming more apparent as technology advances at a rapid pace. These are the areas that need to be focused on in order to find a cure. Minimum wages are just a symptom, and really, are just a distraction
