It's like the difference between terrorists and "ordinary muslims". If the vast majority of ordinary muslims support terrorism and spreading sharia law should they still be considered "good, normal people"? Also was it the Jews who got kicked out of over 100 countries or just the Zionists? Not to say they are all inherently bad, but more share the Zionist beliefs than you might think. Believing you are just naturally more important than everyone else in the world is an attractive ideology.

The point I was trying to make, though I don't really like to use sweeping generalizations. People don't appreciate the power of societal belief structures. War today is very asymmetrical. It's about information more than bullets. Once you strip away everything, the evil death rampages all stem from an idea and how strongly and how many people it holds. Not restricted to war either. Look at starvation from socialism/communism. While what you said is generally true for the vast majority, there would obviously be some cases where some would wake up and see what's really going on behind the curtain. Not to say you wouldn't think that too.
