they were chipping devices, don't think it was ethernet.. that is only some devices now that everything is wifi.. which would lead them to putting a chip in the power cords if so.. so if they couldn't get to the device, the next best thing would be the charger.
So they can paint a picture of what you are doing through your electrical. I am not sure you know that or not. Your computer, the keys.. it is all a frequency. Each key uses a different frequency, how it talks to the shit on your PCB board.. multiple chips for different things. They can listen to your electrical to see what you are typing on your keyboard. Known about that for 20yrs.
