Berkeley resident Tess Rothstein, 30, was riding a rental Ford GoBike when a truck struck her, according to the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition and the San Francisco medical examiner's office.

Rothstein was pronounced dead at the scene and the truck's driver is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
