To the majority of the sheep, they simply do not care about what FB and the like has done with their data. They have been harvested for so long, they simply enjoy staying in the dark. They would rather follow their favorite sports team, make sure little Susie gets dropped off to daycare and office gossip than to realize the true horrors that take place on a daily basis. They don't know any better, for they are simply expendable sheep. They enjoy being blind to the horrors of the world, so long as those horrors don't show up at their door step.
