Where I live in Florida it is very difficult to get any kind of job if you don't speak Spanish. It never used to be like that. The white flight from there is very obvious now. I will be moving my family out of there soon too.

These people need to stay in their own countries, and try for better. They are not needed or wanted here. We have enough of our own poor who need help, and far more than enough American kids in the foster care system who need a family and a home. We need to take care of our own first.

That has to be fake news. I live in Florida. It is quickly becoming a shithole state. The only jobs here are low-paying service sector jobs, and the cost of living is very high. There are already too many immigrants here, and none of them can stand one another. If you speak only English you're going to have a hard time finding a job since many of these immigrants are prejudiced as fuck.

I cannot imagine where the State Department would put these people.
