In the context of Mosques… It's interesting to note that the nature of tribal "Arabs" was for there to always be a roaming tribe/clan in the open desert, people that couldn't fight off other groups.
Let me try to explain this…
So there's 8 tribes, and there's 6 plots of land in a ring around the desert for sustenance.
If you lose musical chairs, you wander the desert until your group is strong enough to kick the ass of some other group holding a nice plot.
