I routinely post questions that run against the apparent "consensus" here. Some agree with me, some disagree, most ignore or don't comment, but no one gets silenced.
I've even managed to get myself banned a few times. Every time the ban got lifted as soon as I showed that I was a real person with a differing POV, not a bot or a shill.
