Okay, no connection I am sure. But I quit eating most pork a few years ago because it started tasting weird to me. Like…wrong texture to the meat. Ditto with KFC - used to love it. Went there one day several years ago and literally had to spit it out. Quit McDs when I kept reading their burgers' ingredients: 'meat' and not 'beef' (which they have now corrected, but I still stay away). I will still eat their fries on a 'cheat' day, though.
