I am certain that Trump and team have planned accordingly - if not, one of the attempts on his life would have succeeded. It isn't by accident that he talks in speeches about being all alone in the White House - with '500 machine guns' out on the lawn. He really hits that one hard - rewatch the CPAC speech. There's a reason for that - there's a reason for everything he says.
Better question to ask is who paid it for him? And why? Easier for him to kill himself if he isn't in custody? Or harder to sing like a bird if not in custody?
