Additional notes on accuracy of this type of watch:

Reset time instructions included in IWC manual stipulates to wait for the second hand to pass the 60 sec mark. Next, gently move the minute hand backwards to the correct minute stroke. The minute hand then begins to move when the reset button is pressed into its normal position. Winding the watch is also stipulated with 20 winds recommended for best accuracy. Note that resting the watch as shown in Q Post 2913 will speed-up the mechanism, ever so slightly - overnight, for example.
