Manafort 47 months for not paying taxes over a decade ago. Clinton 0 days for selling a majority of the United State's uranium supply to Russia, while personally accepting hundreds of millions of dollars from same Russian company, Sultan of Brunei, Saudi King, etc.

Here's the issue I have with the Manafort case, and am totally fine with his sentence of 4 years. Most people are unaware that the DOJ had previously investigated him on these same exact charges which happened over a decade ago.

The DOJ opened an investigation into these crimes, and under the State's Attorney Rod Rosenstein closed the investigation without bringing charges due to the lack of evidence they had on a crime being committed.

Now, over a decade later the special prosecutor Robert Mueller who was assigned by Rod Rosenstein to investigate potential collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign in the 2016 presidential election.

When Mueller was assigned to this by Rod Rosenstein he was supposedly limited in his scope to only investigate potential collusion in the Trump campaign, meaning he was not allow to even investigate potential collusion between Russia and Hillary Clinton's campaign, despite there being reports in the media of her accepting millions of dollars from Russian oligarchs, Uranium One, etc.

Robert Mueller comes in and goes after the 78 year old Paul Manafort for crimes which he committed over a decade ago that the DOJ had already looked into and declined prosecuting at the time.

These crimes didn't occur during his time working for the Trump campaign. The only difference between him being charged now and not a decade ago, was his brief stint of campaign chair for Donald Trump.

It's pretty clear to any objective person who is not emotionally invested in the idea that Russia colluded with Trump and caused Hillary Clinton to lose the election, and refuse to admit the reality of her loosing. She lost because the DNC literally rigged the primary process through their Super Delegates and stole the nomination from Bernie Sanders. They rigged it so that Hillary Clinton won, IN SPITE of what voters had overwhelmingly voted for, and got caught doing it for the entire world to see.

They have dangerously clung to this fantasy now that Russia was the real boogie man, not the DNC, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz or the actual emails WikiLeaks released proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that the primary was rigged.

Judge TS Ellis showed his total skepticism of Mueller's motivation in charging Manafort from almost the beginning of the trial. He even said at one point, something like, he suspected Mueller of charging Manafort, with the end game being the impeachment of Trump.

Petraeus getting no time, is absolutely ridiculous. The man did far much more harm to our country then Manafort and he should be doing hard time right now. He went to the Bildeberg convention a year later, and now he's on MSNBC advocating gun confiscation.

What about Hillary Clinton though? Why didn't Edward Snowden mention Hillary Clinton, and her running a server containing the highest level of classified documents running out of her basement? There's several reports that say China, Russia, Iran, and other state actors accessed that server. She was involved in selling a majority of country's Uranium production to Russia, who then passed it on to Iran!!

She personally enriched herself and her family with hundreds of millions of dollars through the Clinton Initiative, accepting money from people like the Sultan of Brunie, Royalty in the Saudi Arabian King, and even the same Russian company who she had sold our Uranium supply to!!! In every single one of those examples, there's official US government policy or state department expenditures that can be linked in timing with the donations Clinton was accepting at the Clinton Initiative.

Robert Mueller even personally delivered a sample of on a tarmac while he was FBI chief. These are the facts. Is Manafort a good guy? Fuck no. He's the epitome of the swamp in DC who are so corrupted and driven by greed. But his greed and the damage he may have caused through his tax evasion and fraud, are so incredibly disproportionate then the crimes and corruption of the Clinton's, who will never even see the inside of a courtroom, let alone spend time in jail. Petraeus was at least publicly shamed and politically neutered in a court of law.

That is a much more nefarious and glaring example of someone who was never even charged or held to account for a much more damaging act.

The fact Snowden used Petraeus instead of Clinton in this analogy is very telling.
