Worked with a lady that was dating a Canadian. He had an Arab name, when I asked her about it, she said he was actually born in Middle East (not including nation name to protect anon). She proceeded to tell me that he had applied for a visa & citizenship to Canada instead of U.S. because their application process was quicker and easier. He then applied for a U.S. work visa as a Canadian. The process to enter U.S. through Canada is MUCH easier than from Arab nations. On paper, he reported that he was commuting daily from Windsor to U.S. (Ford), when in reality he was renting a house in U.S. He also told her, his application for permanent status here would be faster because he already had a U.S. job.

This was about 12 years ago.

Changes needed to visa programs to review country of ORIGIN - not only current residence. Also, if the southern border is the Front, patriots need to watch their 6 on the north.
