Third party doctrine is the key to understanding why making the connection between Facebook and DARPA critical. If Facebook is simply DARPA/CIA acting via the law of agency, than the government violated the third party doctrine and the 4th amendment. Serious crime.
In order to get around the 4th amendment with regards to Facebook,
the government needs to fall under the "Third Party Doctrine":

If it can be shown that Facebook is simply DARPA/Lifelog, then the third party doctrine evaporates. There wasn't a third party! The government can't set up an entity to get around its own laws.
