I understand now … the theft/loss/exposure of the hacking tools was a catastrophe.
And yet, hacking tools get misused, used against our own people, contrary to law, morality, and common sense.
So, anon with an IT security background still feels conflicted.
Life is full of dilemmas, where someone must weigh the good of the many against the good of the few. I understand that. I do not envy being in the position to have to make those life-and-death decisions.
May a good solution be found and put into place. I for one cannot imagine what it could be.
