Why was Merrick Garland at the White House the day before Antonin Scalia died just miles from the Mexican border?
On the surface, he was there with many other federal judges and officials of the Judicial Conference of the United States (other people listed in his party of 12 are all fed judges or court officials).
Garland hadn't been to the White House in nearly two years.
To be clear, I'm not saying ~10 federal judges are part of some massive conspiracy to kill Scalia. I am saying that this is awfully coincidental (White House meeting Merrick Garland 24 hours before Scalia's death?). Couple that with the circumstances surrounding Scalia's death, and yeah, something smells.
