I know how you feel. But at least the sheriffs are resisting the new gun law. WA has always been labor-left in the cities. But OR is an enigma; used to be much softer, hippie-ish. Some has happened in the last couple of decades.

I am not leaving. I will probably stay until the end, whatever happens.
