What is the Fund for a Better Future? (The group that just gave $2.1mil to TDIP)
DIGG on TDIP funding sources
The Fund for a Better Future (FBF) is a well-funded "meta"-fund composed of five foundations. Majority of them heavily invested in climate change narrative and the environment in gen'l. All very liberal. The Daily Caller recently found out that, in 2017, FBF donated around $2mil to TDIP (The Democracy Integrity Project).
FROM THE FUND FOR A BETTER FUTURE WEBSITE
http://fundforabetterfuture.org/
Created in 2016, Fund for a Better Future Inc. (FBF) is dedicated to "promoting the common good" by upholding democratic values, protecting the environment, improving health, and advancing social equity.
Turns out that "health" tends to means "reproductive rights and/or population control. And about 55% of their money goes to "voting rights." Kek.
Another description lists areas they work in: Environment, Voting Rights, Redistricting, Women's Health, Immigration Rights.

TDIP received over $9mil for 2017: $2mil+ from Fund for a Better Future and $1mil from George Soros. That leaves ~ $6mil from unknown sources.
It appears that the main purpose of TDIP is to be to oppose the Presidency of DJT, especially via pushing the "Muh Russia" narrative. To that end, TDIP has worked with New Knowledge to look at Russian influence online for the 2018 elections; they have also "hired" FusionGPS and Chris Steele for some sort of work (see CAP). It is still unclear how active a role they played in any of these activities; TDIP may simply has served to launder and distribute money to others.
