Regarding end times. There are several prophesies that leave no doubt as to where we are in the stream of time. This one is the simplist.

Revelation 17: 9-10

"“This calls for a mind that has wisdom: The seven heads mean seven mountains, where the woman sits on top. And there are seven kings: Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet arrived; but when he does arrive, he must remain a short while."

So. He is saying there are 7 KINGS

5 HAVE FALLEN (come and gone)

1 IS (meaning the one ruling "now" or, at the time John got the vision)

AND THE OTHER HAS NOT YET ARRIVED BUT WHEN IT DOES IT WILL ONLY BE HERE A SHORT TIME.

John the received Revelation vision probably around 96 CE while he was in exile on Patmos under Roman rule.

Which means the five kings that had already fallen (FIVE HAVE FALLEN) before that time were:

EGYPT

ASSYRIA

BABYLON

MEDO-PERSIA

GREECE

The one in power when John got the vision (ONE IS) was ROME

That leaves only one left (ONE HAS NOT YET ARRIVED)before the end comes…

Who was the next big world power after ROME fell and split up?

The UNITED STATES/UK. (Anglo-American world power)

Thats it. The last one. We are living in the time of the last kingdom.

This is also backed up in Daniel ch 2 and in the King of the North and south in Daniel 11.

And if you care at all…pay attention! because,

“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever."

Daniel 2:44

So all the kingdoms or governments are going to be done away with and God is going to set up his own.

We also know this…

The kings of the earth take their stand And high officials gather together as one Against Jehovah and against his anointed one.

They say: “Let us tear off their shackles And throw off their ropes!” The One enthroned in the heavens will laugh; Jehovah will scoff at them. At that time he will speak to them in his anger And terrify them in his burning anger, Saying: “I myself have installed my king On Zion, my holy mountain.”

Psalm 2:1-6

Which means, if you are aligning yourself WITH a human government at this time, you are aligning yourself AGAINST Gods incoming government. Because ALL the human governments are going to be fighting AGAINST Gods incoming one.

Jesus said to be no part of the world. Just like he told Pilate in John 18:36

Jesus answered: “My Kingdom is no part of this world. If my Kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my Kingdom is not from this source."

This is what he meant when he prayed in John 17:16

"They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world"

Everyone should be unattaching from the human governments right now.

Get out of "this world".

Get out of this political firestorm! It is a distraction from what is really happening!

You are being distracted and drawn into In the middle of the fight over and between the human governments, Who will eventually band together against Gods government.

This is NOT where you want to be.

It is time to take a position of neutrality and remove yourself from them.
