The article now seems quite strange, as if the writers don't think POTUS has access to ALL classified information and surveillance info about this very important matter of national security. As if we should expect he gets all of his info only from newspaper reports. How did ever they think that was going to fly, and how did we or anyone else ever believe it?

If it were Morse code, an uninterrupted string of many dots cannot be parsed unless you assume where the spaces are.

1 dot = e

2 dots = i

3 dots = s

4 dots = h

5 dotes = numeral 5

8 dots = erase/disregard the previous transmission

Etc.

The characters you thought could be Morse make absolutely no sense to a person who knows Morse (me).
