Dinesh is a Dartmouth grad, as is Laura Ingraham. I know Dartmouth interviews applicants. Alumni from the applicant's region do the interviews. Good bet Dinesh and Laura do interviews and know what they're talking about. The interviewers know exactly what the school is looking for and have a big say in who gets in.
Brown does interviews, too, not sure about the rest.
