DEA agents and 200 police officers execute search warrants in connection to drug investigation in Cleveland - 9:05 AM, Mar 13, 2019
CLEVELAND — Police and DEA agents hit the streets early Wednesday morning to execute search warrants in Cleveland, Euclid and Lake County in connection to an ongoing drug investigation.
The Department of Justice is holding a news conference to announce the arrest and charges of 22 people indicted for trafficking fentanyl, heroin and fentanyl analogues.
The news conference is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at Euclid City Hall. U.S. Attorney Justin Herdman, DEA Assistant Special Agent in Charge Keith Martin, Euclid Police Chief Scott Meyer and others will be present at the news conference.
