34 minutes into the Snowden movie…

The NSA Guy makes it quite the point to show the Xkeyscore stuff to Edward.

"It's almost like I'm the wicked witch handing you the poisoned apple!"

Godlike digital abilities, right?

I seem to recall there were two apples in that fancy bible book…

What if Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Life'n'Death…

Nooooot the Tree of Knowledge…

Especially considering the rampant ignorance and how often people die and all that…

There's a twist.

Now I'm wondering…

This guy was in charge of the NSA and "retired" in 2014… Snowden was 2013.

On top of that..

There's another Timeline here where Snowden was working with Adm. Rogers on a house cleaning project at the NSA…

Wouldn't work if it happened while Rogers was in charge.

Adm. Rogers would have needed to come in under the circumstances of "cleaning up leaks, vulnerabilities, problems, people-not-going-with-the-system, etc".

Optics.

Who was Snowden's actual handler?

Who was feeding him everything?

Or is that movie not actually/entirely about "Snowden"?

Also… the people who made this movie really want to play up Snowden as a righteous actor with morals and concerns and so on.

Because if Snowden was dark-gray hat…

Then who showed him Xkeyscore to get him involved with something "official" that "everyone knew about"?

Beyond that… was he singled out and manipulated?

Again, that would clear and set the stage for Adm. Rogers.

Could have been a sacrifice move.

To out the bad actors on the NSA, someone expendable had to fall on the sword.

Just thinkin' outside of boxes.

I went over it a few times but no, I didn't see him in the list of retired officers who supported Trump presented in that letter from Military Leaders.
